Abstract Photography Prints for Modern Spaces.
Discover a unique collection of abstract wall art captured during high-speed rail journeys. These framed photography prints translate the kinetic energy of global transit into a serene, meditative experience. The Shinkansen collection travels through a rich spectrum of light, from the yuzu-coloured glow of the Japanese countryside to the deep charcoal, muted sage and oxidised slate of Neo-Tokyo. In the DeutscheBahn series you’ll find pieces featuring the organic emerald greens of the Danish countryside alongside deep reds, ochres and sand-coloured neutrals inspired by the industrial pulse of Berlin. Whether as an intimate accent or a commanding focal point, these works bring a distinct cinematic character to contemporary interiors, creative studios, and professional sanctuaries alike.
I hope you find something you like,
Chris

Fine Art Giclée Printing
All Chillary Print Studio prints are on 310gsm 100% Cotton Rag stock using genuine Epson Ultra-chrome Pro inks on the latest Epson P20070 printer. Prints are archival quality and guaranteed not to fade or bleed for up to 100 years. It is the industry standard in galleries and museums across the world. Each giclée print will be dry mounted to an acid free 5 mm foam board using an archival adhesive film. This process involves passing the artwork through a press and bonding it to a substrate ensuring that the print remains perfectly flat and ripple free for many years to come.
Hand made Victorian Ash Box Frames
Timber mouldings (frames) are made from locally sourced, sustainable Victorian Ash. The timber is milled, hand sanded and painted by Format Framing in Richmond, Melbourne. All frames (except 200x300) are the shadowbox style, where the work is set back from the museum grade plexiglass for a very modern gallery look. Each frame is carefully hand assembled in Richmond using the finest quality materials. A museum-quality acrylic is used instead of glass to protect your print from damaging UV rays. It also has the added benefit of helping to keep weight down and prevent breakages. Each frame is finished with hanging wire.
The process
Images in the Shinkansen and DeutscheBahn series was captured using long exposures and lucky timing while travelling at 200 ~ 300 km/h. Each photograph has been cleaned up (removal of dust and rain spots on the train windows) in Photoshop along with additional blurring and colour accentuation. No generative AI was used in the creation of these artworks.
